Impressed so far. Will be testing performance

Purchased this system to install in my OffGrid barn/studio. I’ve been running an Ecoflow Delta Max + extra battery for my power needs during construction. But I needed a more powerful system to run well, mini split and General Electric uses.

The system came in quicker than expected. I would have given5 stars but upon start up, there was a fault code of 01. Fan needed to be replaced. I called and emailed and the customer service was great. They indicated two corrections. Either send back for service or open up the unit, find the fan blockage and cut it out. Lo and behold, I found that there was indeed a piece of the fan shroud too large blocking the fan movement. Cut it out, and the unit fired up with any issues.

As you can see in the pic, still need to hook lines to breaker and test the system out. But overall pleased with what comes with this 📦 . Just wish it included some of the cut off switch’s, e.g. PV and DC. Undated review to come next week.

Impressive kit

I am planning to mount the panels on a garage yet to be built. I settled on the HBK-PRO and ordered it early, so I don't have it set up yet. Cleared area in basement, mounted inverter.

After 36 yrs as professional electrical engineering in power a couple of them were PV. The introductory videos from shopsolar were excellent but I've worked off of schematics so long, I'm handicapped without them. I usually read the owner's manual before I unbox the equipment. Found a tiny one in box and pdf on line under a different number but I didn't find which terminal was battery + and -. Those who don't read would be done by now. I take that criticism all the time but I burn up less equipment.

The equipment is light years ahead of what I used to see. Can't wait to see it running.

Off grid system, working great

We installed this system on our ranch, 100% off grid, we are learning this solar living, we added at big battery, works great in the spring, summer and fall months. Winter takes some doing due to inversions and cloud covers, had a system installed so that we can charge by generator which takes a 1/2 day or so. Had great support from the sales and technical teams, will buy again
