Finally an Inverter I can run my water heater and dryer on.
EG4 12K XP Off-Grid Inverter
Installed on June 2, 2025
I have this set up in my utility room in an off grid setup .
No grid tie in. No gen tie in. Even tho it's capable.
Unit is on the heavy side.
Build quality looks great and was easy to set up.
I have around 5k watts of potential solar input to the EG4 12K ,
plus 800 watts from my Rover 60 all going to 1000 Ah's of battery storage.
I'm using a 40 amp service electrical box for what I think is critical to me during a grid failure.
It runs my living room entertainment center , kitchen refrigerator , freezer, water heater, a few lights,
washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and a dehumidifier.
Fan noise is acceptable as my max draw is around 30 + amps at 240vac. The dehumidifier's fan is a lot louder.
Does what I want.
So far so good. 1 month in.
