Could not be happier with our purchase!

We have lived off grid for a long time. Our new system now allows us to live off grid in style. Before this massive upgrade we used luci lanterns for light and a gas generator to pump our well. We don't own enough appliances to fully use our system's capabilities. We are saving for a second mini split, a washer and dryer, and a second freezer. Even after this I believe we will have power to spare. Shop solar has been with me every step of the way for the few minor bumps I have had on the way to full energy independence. Delta 2 Max

So during the fall of 2022, a hurricane destroyed our pool enclosure. I took everything down, cut up the straight pieces of aluminum and stored it behind my barn. Early this year I decided to clean up the place and that ugly pile of aluminum had to go. I thought of scrapping it but as it wouldn't bring much cash, I decided to just try and build something out of it. One thought led to another and we decided to build a mobile chicken coop. Never had chickens before, so did a bit of research and the attached is what I came up with. The coop is 6'6 x 16', all aluminum framed. After getting the chicks (1 rooster and 7 layers) grown, I decided the run was too small (I move the coop once a week) . So an additional 16' PVC run was added. I wanted a Solar System to make the coop fully self sufficient. After discussing my needs with Alex, a Shop Solar specialist, we decided on the The Delta 2 Max. It works great. The 110v outlets power the ceiling light, vent fan and 4 motion detector predator lights. The USB connection powers the automatic chicken door, and the 12volt car outlet connector powers the rear jack. The Delta 2 Max has been operating 24/7 flawlessly for 4 months now and I couldn't be happier. The 2 x 200watt panels always produce more power than I need, even with several cloudy days in a row. I have been so impressed with Shop Solar that I have now purchased a 12,000w OGK-PRO solar system from them. I am in the process of installation now and will have a review of that…
