Instead of getting another window a/c for my house, I decided to get the EcoFlow Wave 2 because it's portable, and I can use it with one of my EcoFlow generators if the power goes out. Also, should I decide to get the optional battery pack later, I can.
I don't like that there are tubes that have to be used with it, but it's getting the job done. I thought it was going to be heavy, but I can actually carry it around with no problem. I like that each end protrudes like an overhang, so I can easily pick it up. It cools my room quickly, and I'm looking forward to using it in the winter, as this little old house has no central system and it's hard to get heat to move into the bedroom from the gas heater in the other room around the corner.
I did wrap some insulation around the tube that goes outside because it does get hot. I'm going to have to attach a better screen on the outside of the tube, because birds moved it and were checking it out on the inside, haha.
It would have been nice if the user manual was included in the box because I couldn't figure some things out on the main panel. But I was able to download it from their website.
