2. Customer Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete project details.

Review the submitted permit and plan set carefully.

Ensure the information is acceptable for their AHJ.

Submit the documents to their AHJ and utility provider as needed.
Shop Solar Kits does not directly submit to your municipality or utility—this is the customer’s responsibility.
3. Typical Turnaround Time

Full permit plan completion: approximately 2–4 weeks

Initial response and project kickoff: within 24–48 hours of your order

Revision requests: typically completed within 2–3 business days

You’ll receive your finalized plan set for submission to your local building department. -

If your AHJ requests changes, our team will handle revisions promptly.
5. Revisions
We offer free revisions to correct any errors or to address AHJ feedback. Just send us the revision request and AHJ comments.
6. Intellectual Property
All permit and plan set documents are the intellectual property of Shop Solar Kits. Reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized sharing is not permitted without written consent.
7. Liability
Shop Solar Kits is not liable for:

Errors in the customer-provided information.

Permit denials due to omissions or jurisdictional issues.

Delays caused by AHJ review processes or resubmissions.
Customers agree to indemnify Shop Solar Kits against any claims or losses arising from use of the permit and plan set or from the project itself.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. If terminated by the customer, they are responsible for any work completed up to the date of termination.
9. Confidentiality
All project-related and customer-provided information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties without written consent.
10. Refund Policy
If your permit application is rejected and you haven’t made any misrepresentations or omissions, you may request a refund.

You must notify us in writing within 30 days of receiving a permit denial.

Requests due to revision needs do not qualify as a rejection.

If approved, refunds will cover the original service fee minus any non-AHJ-related revisions.

All refund determinations are made at the sole discretion of Shop Solar Kits.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
12. Entire Agreement
These terms represent the full agreement between the customer and Shop Solar Kits regarding the permit and plan set package and supersede all prior agreements.
13. Amendments
Modifications must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
