This 36V and 48V AC 25/18.5-Amp Converter/Battery Charger from AIMS Power provides wide latitude to meet the demands of many applications. This unit's broad AC input range of 70VAC to 145VAC can handle many applications and battery technologies. Selectable dip switch for 36VDC or 48VDC battery banks.

Useful with generators and shore power, and charges batteries including open lead acid, AGM, gel and LiFeP04. This unit's 25/18.5 amp charging capacity gets the job done in a hurry. Ideal for golf carts, RVs, boats, campers and many other applications.

Reverse-polarity, over-voltage and under-voltage protections provide peace of mind along with short-circuit and over-temperature safeguards.

Charger over temperature protection	The internal temperatures of the charger will be measured by NTC. Based on these measurements, unit will shut down if the temperature exceeds 105°C. Unit will restart when environment temperature cools to 95 °C.
BTS(Battery Temperature Sensing)	The battery temperature sensor allows the charge controller to continuously adjust charge voltage / charge current based on actual battery temperature. When the battery temperature is over 40 °C, unit will reduce the charging voltage to Float voltage, also it will reduce the Max charging current by 10% with every two degree of temperature rise. When the battery temperature is over 50 °C, unit will shut down.

Excellent Charger

I bought this charger to restart a battery that had shut itself down, although I now know it is a smart charger and won't work for that purpose I still like it. You can restart a battery by simply jumping to another battery that's disconnected from the charge controller. I connected a charged battery and this charger and it worked. I also chose this battery as it can work with varying voltages such as from a portable generator. It does charge very fast and consistently and shuts down to float when battery is charged.

EG4 off-grid base kit, Happy with my purchase.

This is the first stage of my three planned purches. I got the eg4 inverter 6000 XP base kit with six 400 watt panels and the two server rack batteries. Did a little online research and followed the instructions and it got set up without any issues. Right now I'm just running it in my garage on a single outlet and have been running dual 750 watt water distillers with it. Once I get the second inverter and a bunch more panels and batteries, I plan on attaching it to my subpanel in my house that has my lights and outlets and appliances on it. Then I'll get a soft start for my AC and blower and run it on my main panel.
