Is the Elite Pro "Plug and Play" for generators?
Yes. The Elite Pro is fully compatible with Auto-Start generators. As long as your generator supports 2-wire start functionality, the Sol-Ark inverter can automatically kick the generator on when batteries are low and turn it off once they are recharged.
What size generator can I use?
It follows the same requirements as the Plus: 120/240V Split-Phase only.

How does the Elite Max installation differ?
The Elite Max uses the same 200A passthrough architecture as the Plus but is bundled with more cabling and capacity for larger solar arrays. It supports the same Whole-Home or Critical Loads options depending on your main panel size.
What is the off-grid power limit?
If there is no grid or generator assistance (pure off-grid), the inverter output is limited to 12,000W (50A at 240Vac).
How do I tie this into my home electrical panel?
The Elite Plus features a massive 200A passthrough, making installation simpler:
Whole-Home Backup: If your main panel is 200A or less, the system can back up your entire home. The configuration is: Grid → MTS → Sol-Ark 15k → MTS → Main Panel.
Critical Loads Sub-Panel: If your main service is above 200A, you will use a sub-panel to isolate your most important circuits.
