The AIMS 1500 watt modified sine power inverter with built in charger and transfer switch is designed to meet your back up or mobile power inverter needs.

The unit is a 1500 watt power inverter, with a 12 volt dc input. This inverter charger has a built in transfer switch which allows you to plug this inverter into a regular ac outlet in your home, when the power goes out, this power inverter automatically switches to run off of your battery bank. The charger which is built into this power inverter outputs 10 dc amps of charge to keep your batteries full, so when the power goes out they are ready to supply power to this back up power inverter.

The most common use for this modified sine inverter charger is to back up sump pumps in your basement. This unit is built to last and has been designed with sump pumps in mind. This AIMS power has produced this unit for nearly a decade and it is a very high quality power inverter charger. Wrong Inverter - Bur Made It Right

Was sent the wrong inverter; 12V instead of the required and ordered 24V. Received the wrong one the night before the electrician came to install the solar system at my off-grid house. Naturally without the proper inverter, I still had no electricity.

The company expedited the shipment of the correct one via FedEx, and that was great. In their defense, it is perhaps possible during COVID crisis that their employee that took the order over the phone simply wasn’t doing their normal job; alternately someone in shipping/inventory dropped-the-ball and made the mistake.

So very disappointing and it cost me a good deal of money for electrician’s return trip and hours; however they got it right the second time, were nice to work with, and, as I said, expedited shipping of the right replacement inverter. Oh, also provided me via e-mail a return label for FedEx, so all I had to do was re-box in original packaging and drive it to FedEx - no cost other than gas and time.
